Kai Havertz scored on his first start in almost a year as Arsenal completed a perfect Champions League group stage with an 8th win in 8 games, beating Kairat Almaty.
Arsenal took the lead early, and Havertz’s powerful finish put them ahead again after Kairat briefly equalised from a penalty. Gabriel Martinelli added a third, sealing the win. Despite a late goal from Kairat, Arsenal finished top of their group, becoming only the second English side after Manchester City to win eight or more consecutive games in the Champions League.
