Nottingham Forest have fallen from chasing the Champions League to fighting to avoid relegation this season. Saturday’s 3-1 loss at Aston Villa capped a tough fortnight after defeats to Fulham, Manchester City, and Everton.
Manager Sean Dyche stressed that the team had been improving and consistent until this recent slump. He believes Forest have the quality to survive, pointing out that they won seven of their first 12 games under his management since October.
Despite sitting just four points above the relegation zone, Dyche wants perspective on the situation and insists there is no panic. He sees the squad as a work in progress ahead of Tuesday’s crucial clash with fellow strugglers West Ham.
