Wolves finally got their first Premier League win of the season after 20 attempts, cruising past struggling West Ham 3-0 at Molineux. It was Rob Edwards’ first victory as Wolves head coach and their first league win since April 26, 2025.
Goals from Jhon Arias, Hwang Hee-chan (penalty), and 18-year-old Mateus Mane, who scored his first senior goal, put Wolves in control. The early breakthrough came in just four minutes, when Arias tapped in after Hwang beat West Ham defender Konstantinos Mavropanos.
Hwang then converted a penalty in the 31st minute, and Mane added a third 10 minutes later with a powerful strike past Alphonse Areola. West Ham struggled to respond in the second half and remain 18th with 14 points, now nine games without a win, while Wolves doubled their points to six.
