Celtic manager Wilfried Nancy says he is still “together with the board” and believes the team can turn things around despite a sixth loss in eight games, following a 3-1 derby defeat to Rangers. He praised Celtic’s “outstanding” first-half performance, where Yang Hyun-Jun scored and the team created several chances, but admitted their defense let them down in the second half as Youssef Chermiti scored twice and Mikey Moore added a third.
Nancy acknowledged the frustration of fans, who protested against the club board, but insisted the loss wasn’t about tactics or individual players. “We are really close, there are many things that can turn around. I really believe we can turn things around. We are together with the board,” he said.
