Former Chelsea midfielder, Conor Gallagher is set to join Premier League rivals Aston Villa from Atletico Madrid.
This was disclosed by football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano in a tweet on Monday.
According to Romano, Unai Emery’s side are on the verge of a “club-to-club” agreement for Gallagher.”
Negotiations are at the final stages with Atlético Madrid for a loan deal with an option to buy clause to eventually become mandatory.
At the moment, talks will continue on the player side now amid the ongoing January transfer window.
Gallagher has played for clubs like Crystal Palace, Swansea and West Brom in the past.
