Bournemouth forward Antoine Semenyo, who is close to joining Manchester City for £65m, starred in a chaotic 2-2 draw at Chelsea by setting up both of his team’s goals and conceding a penalty.
Semenyo’s long throw-ins led to early goals for David Brooks in the 6th minute and Justin Kluivert in the 27th. Chelsea had taken the lead through a penalty by Cole Palmer and an effort from Enzo Fernandez.
Bournemouth dominated parts of the first half, testing Chelsea goalkeeper Robert Sanchez with 14 attempts. Chelsea had chances to win, but Petrovic made key saves, and Enes Unal missed a late opportunity for the Cherries.
The result leaves Chelsea with just one win in their last seven league games, while Bournemouth remain winless in 10.
