Kevin Schade scored a hat-trick as Brentford thrashed Bournemouth in the Premier League, extending the Cherries’ winless run to nine matches.
Schade opened the scoring in the seventh minute, outmuscling Bafode Diakite and slotting past goalkeeper Djordje Petrovic. Brentford doubled their lead through a bizarre own-goal after Igor Thiago’s shot was deflected, with Diakite inadvertently putting the ball into his own net.
Schade added a third, finishing off a counter-attack from Yehor Yarmoliuk’s cross, before Antoine Semenyo scored a late consolation for Bournemouth. Schade then completed his hat-trick with a close-range header, sealing a dominant 4-1 victory.
The win lifts Brentford to eighth in the Premier League, while Bournemouth remain 15th, continuing their poor run. Brentford have now beaten Bournemouth in five consecutive meetings across all competitions.
