Burnley and Everton played out a goalless draw at Turf Moor, with both sides creating few clear chances in a largely uneventful Premier League clash.
The first half offered almost nothing, with only Charly Alcaraz’s header testing Burnley goalkeeper Martin Dubravka. The second half saw more action, including Jacob Bruun Larsen and Beto coming close for their respective sides, but Dubravka and both defences held firm. Burnley defender Bashir Humphreys and Everton’s Thierno Barry also missed opportunities, leaving the score at 0-0.
The draw keeps Burnley six points adrift of 17th-placed Nottingham Forest, while Everton remain 11th with 25 points from 18 games.
