Real Madrid’s Alexander-Arnold Sidelined for Two Months

0

Real Madrid defender Trent Alexander-Arnold will be out for around two months after hurting his thigh during Real Madrid’s win over Athletic Club.

He hasn’t played much this season because of injuries, although he did get his first La Liga assist in the 3–0 victory.

About 10 minutes into the second half, he pulled up with a thigh problem and had to be helped off the pitch. Sources told  Rushhoursport that the 27-year-old is now expected to miss roughly two months.

It’s another setback for him, as he only joined Real Madrid from Liverpool in the summer and had already spent six weeks out with a hamstring injury.

To make things harder for the team, their usual right-back Dani Carvajal is also out until early 2026, so midfielder Federico Valverde might have to cover that position for now.
