Real Madrid World has extended the contract of Nigerian coach Ayere Sylvester for another year after a successful first season with the organisation.
Ayere worked as an assistant coach during his initial spell with Real Madrid World in Dubai, where he helped run global football programmes and trained thousands of players from different countries.
Speaking after the extension, Ayere said he was pleased and described the new deal as recognition of his hard work and impact. He said the contract showed trust in his ability, dedication and commitment over the past year.
During his time with Real Madrid World, Ayere helped design the training structure used by the organisation and organised coaching programmes for more than 5,000 players worldwide. He also took part in the Real Madrid Legends initiative, where he worked closely with former Real Madrid and Brazil star Roberto Carlos, a three-time Champions League winner.
Ayere, who holds an FA Level 3 and UEFA B coaching licence, began his international coaching career in Dubai with Fleetwood United FC. He worked as an assistant coach in the second division, helped coach the club’s under-15 team and managed the under-23 pathway to the senior squad. During this period, Fleetwood United won the second division and earned promotion to the top flight.
His success there led to his move to Real Madrid World.
Ayere said he is grateful for the chance to continue working with one of football’s biggest global brands and is excited about the opportunity to grow further as a coach and make an even greater impact.
The Dubai-based coach started his coaching journey in Nigeria, where he worked with several grassroots and women’s teams and also served as an opposition analyst for Gbagada FC in Nigeria’s third division.
