Manchester United’s 19-year-old Ayden Heaven has confirmed he will not switch international allegiance from England to Ghana for next summer’s World Cup. Born in London, Heaven qualifies for Ghana through a grandparent, and the Ghana FA has been monitoring his progress.
Heaven has represented England at various youth levels and wants to play for the senior team. Despite an ankle injurywhile playing for England U20s in October, he has returned strongly for United, starting four consecutive Premier League matches and earning man of the match in a 1-0 win over Newcastle.
Manager Ruben Amorim praised Heaven’s development, highlighting his maturity, composure, and rapid improvement in recent games.
