England’s men recorded a comfortable 4-1 victory over Germany in the FIH Pro League in Dublin.
After a tight first half, James Gall gave England the lead shortly after the break. England stayed in control and doubled their advantage when Henry Croft finished strongly from close range. Sam Hooper then made it 3-1 with a low strike from a penalty corner.
Nick Bandurak added a fourth goal with a smart finish, while Germany managed a late consolation through Benedikt Schwarzhaupt.
The win was a strong response from England after an earlier defeat to Germany, and they will next face Belgium on Sunday.
