Gilchrist signs new two-year Chelsea deal

 Alfie Gilchrist has signed a new two-year deal with Chelsea, including the option of a further 12-month extension.

The defender has enjoyed a breakthrough season with his boyhood club, making 12 appearances for Mauricio Pochettino's side.
