West Ham's poor run of form is reportedly delaying David Moyes' new contract as club hierarchy want to see a response to Sunday's 6-0 capitulation to Arsenal.
Thousands left the London Stadium once they when went 4-0 down before half-time.
Back in December, the Hammers were ready to hand a new deal to the 60-year-old, whose current contract expires at the end of this season. Moyes has gone on record to say an extension until June 2026 is on its way to being finalised.
But the Daily Mail are reporting that confirmation has been put on hold. West Ham have not won in the Premier League since that victory away at the Emirates Stadium and there is now an acceptance they must prioritise their problems first.
West Ham face Nottingham Forest, Brentford, Everton and Burnley – all sitting in the bottom seven of the table - in their next four games.
