Sunderland have announced the appointment of Anthony Hayes as the club’s new first-team coach.
Supporting Interim head coach Mike Dodds alongside Michael Proctor and Alessandro Barcherini, Hayes joins the First-Team’s coaching staff until the end of the 2023-24 season.
Hayes spent seven years at Charlton Athletic prior to his Wearside move, working in the Addicks’ academy from 2016 and progressing into the role of Under-21 Lead Coach by 2021.
