EPL: Thomas Partey reveals how Arsenal will approach Man City tie

Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey has revealed exactly how Mikel Arteta’s side would approach their next Premier League game which is against title rivals Manchester City.

Arsenal, having topped the league table from the beginning of the season, have gradually lost their grip on the title.

In their last game, the Gunners managed a 3-3 draw against Southampton and the result has put Manchester City in control of the title race.

Manchester City are five points behind the Gunners but have two games in hand and if they beat Arsenal in their Wednesday’s clash at the Etihad, Pep Guardiola’s side will emerge favourites to win the title again.

But Thomas Partey said Arsenal are ready to fight till the end and would travel to Manchester with the mindset to win the game.

“I think everything depends on us – we have to go [to City] with the mentality to play football…at the end, we have to try and win,” he said, according to Daily Mail.

Partey added: “We have to approach it as a game in that we do everything that we did from the beginning of the season and I am sure we can win if we do that. We cannot put our heads down because now is not the time to drop heads. We have to keep on fighting.”
