Barcelona are ready to hand Marcos Alonso a new deal.
The former Chelsea defender Alonso signed for Barca this summer on a contract to June.
The veteran has done enough to convince Barca management to seek to extend his stay.
Barca want to hand Alonso a new 12 month deal with the option for another year.
For his part, Alonso will be happy to put pen to paper.
