Juventus coach Allegri convinced of Rabiot commitment amid fresh Man Utd talk

Juventus star Adrien Rabiot has completed a U-turn on his future at the club.

The Frenchman looked set to leave the Italian giants in the summer, with Manchester United circling.

However, a move did not pan out due to his wage demands, which led to United signing Casemiro from Real Madrid instead.

Rabiot has got his head down since then, turning in great performances to impress Juve boss Max Allegri.

“I wasn't surprised at all by Adrien, he's a player who's improved," Allegri told reporters after Rabiot scored in a Champions League win over Maccabi Haifa.

"He's 27, the best age to take the next steps forward.

"I think that he's shown that he's a very good player and I think he has the potential to improve in his forward play and his forward passing. He's improved a lot in terms of tackling and he scored two goals tonight.

“Slowly things are improving, but I think he is in the most important years of his career."
