Cork City goalkeeper David Harrington's hopes of joining Everton appear to have hit a snag.
Harrington was reportedly a target for the club in January, with reports in Ireland stating a fee had been agreed.
The Irish Independent even stated that a figure of €100,000 up front including add-ons was enough to get a deal done.
But now it appears that the 22-year-old has damaged his shoulder while playing for Cork.
He even had to withdraw from Republic of Ireland U21s' match against Israel, which they lost on penalties.
Whether a move can happen in January depends on Harrington's ability to get fit enough by then to pass a medical.
