Morgan urges Leicester board to stick with Rodgers

Former Leicester City captain Wes Morgan has backed Brendan Rodgers to turn things around after a horror start to the season.

The Foxes have just one point from their opening seven games.

Rodgers is reportedly under pressure to keep his job, but Morgan has urged his former club to stick with the Northern Irishman.

Speaking to Sky Sports, Morgan said: "Looking at the managers in the past, you get more than a chance to make things right. The owners are ambitious, they want trophies and want results. It's a results business and there'll be a time where enough is enough.

"It's just when for the owners. I hope Brendan gets more of a chance and a longer go at it because I've worked with him, I know his capabilities - he's an excellent manager.

"But, it's a result business, Brendan understands that but it's down to the owners. If they want to give him longer or not."
