EPL: Fernandinho picks club he will join after Man City

 

Manchester City midfielder, Fernandinho has already picked the club he will join after he eventually leaves Pep Guardiola’s side this summer.

Fernandinho has already announced he will leave Man City at the end of the season.

The Brazilian played a crucial role in Man City’s title charge this season, but the 37-year-old is leaving at the end of the campaign.

He has come to play an important role for Man City in recent weeks, filling in at centre-back amid a host of injuries to defenders.

Fernandinho is set to return to his homeland this summer with a number of clubs interested.

However, the veteran midfielder is said to have already picked his preferred destination.

According to Sport Witness, his agent has told enquiring parties about his client’s decision.

The report added that Fernandinho is returning to Athletico Paranaense, the club which broke him into senior football back in 2003.

The transfer is described as ‘certain’ with Fernandinho set to sign on or after July 18.
