Yohanna Joins Brighton for Pre-Season Preparations

Nigerian winger Zadok Yohanna is set to report for pre-season training with Brighton & Hove Albion's first-team squad on July 15, after the Premier League club decided against sending the teenager out on loan for the upcoming season.

The 19-year-old completed a record-breaking €30 million move from Swedish side AIK, becoming the most expensive outgoing transfer in Swedish football history. Since arriving in England, Yohanna has been undergoing an individual training programme, including sessions alongside experienced forward Danny Welbeck.

Yohanna joined AIK from Ikon Allah Football Academy in Kaduna just a year before sealing his switch to the Premier League. He signed a five-year contract with the Seagulls and recently celebrated his 19th birthday at the club's training ground, where teammates and staff surprised him with a cake during a gym session.

Speaking about his remarkable rise, Yohanna said he is determined to justify the club's faith in him and make his family proud as he embarks on the next chapter of his career in England.
