Spain forward Lamine Yamal insists his side will face France without fear after edging Belgium 2-1 to book a place in the FIFA World Cup semi-finals.
The victory sets up a blockbuster clash in Dallas, where France will be aiming for a third consecutive World Cup final, while Spain seek a third straight victory over Les Bleus.
“There are two possibilities: either they reach three World Cup finals in a row, or we beat them three times,” Yamal said.
“We’re not afraid at all. We came here to play these matches and win them. Now it’s time to rest and focus on France.”
Yamal was named Player of the Match after another impressive display as Mikel Merino's late winner secured Spain’s place in the last four.
Despite scoring just once at the tournament, the 18-year-old said his priority remains helping Spain succeed rather than chasing personal accolades.
