Phil Foden has signed a new four-year contract with Manchester City, extending his stay at the Etihad Stadium until 2030.
The 26-year-old midfielder, whose previous deal was due to expire next summer, has committed his future to the club under new head coach Enzo Maresca.
A product of City's academy, Foden made his senior debut at 17 under Pep Guardiola and has since made 369 appearances, winning six Premier League titles, the UEFA Champions League and two FA Cups.
After missing out on Thomas Tuchel's England squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, Foden is eager for a fresh start and is looking forward to reuniting with Maresca, who served as Guardiola's assistant during City's historic Treble-winning 2022/23 campaign.
"Committing my future to City means everything to me. Playing for this club is all I've ever wanted to do," Foden said.
"I can't wait to work with Enzo again. He was brilliant during the Treble season and someone all the players respected and loved working with."
