Super Falcons goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie ended the 2025/26 Barclays Women’s Super League season with the highest save percentage, capping an impressive debut campaign with Brighton.

Official WSL statistics show the 25-year-old recorded a 74.7 per cent save rate—the best among goalkeepers who made at least 10 league appearances. She finished just ahead of Chelsea’s Hannah Hampton (74.6 per cent), while Manchester United’s Phallon Tullis-Joyce ranked third with 73.6 per cent.

Nnadozie faced 83 shots on target in 19 league matches, making 62 saves to establish herself as one of the league’s standout goalkeepers in her first season in England.

Her consistent performances played a key role in Brighton’s campaign, helping the club remain competitive against the WSL’s top sides and reach the Women’s FA Cup final, where they were beaten by Manchester City.

The Nigerian international also kept six clean sheets—the joint fourth-highest tally in the league—and prevented an estimated 3.3 goals, highlighting her exceptional shot-stopping ability.

Earlier in the season, Nnadozie won the WSL Save of the Month award for a stunning fingertip stop against Liverpool, a save that also earned a nomination for the league’s Save of the Season award.
