Portuguese Primeira Liga side SC Braga have completed the signing of highly rated Nigerian teenage defender Adebisi Olamikun from Nigeria Premier Football League club Inter Lagos.
Inter Lagos confirmed the transfer in a statement on their official X account, announcing the departure of the 18-year-old centre-back, who has emerged as one of Nigeria’s promising young defensive talents.
The left-footed defender has reportedly signed a long-term contract with Braga in a deal believed to be worth around €50,000.
Olamikun has arrived in Portugal and will begin his development with Braga’s youth team as he aims to earn a place in the senior squad. He impressed during his time at Inter Lagos, where his composure, defensive awareness and technical ability helped establish him as one of the club’s standout prospects.
The move further highlights Inter Lagos’ growing reputation for developing young talents capable of making the transition to European football.
Olamikun becomes the latest Nigerian to join Braga, following in the footsteps of former Super Eagles defender Elderson Echiejile, who was part of Nigeria’s 2013 Africa Cup of Nations-winning squad. The transfer marks a major milestone in the teenager’s career as he begins his European journey.
