England defender John Stones has completed a free transfer to Italian champions Inter Milan, signing a two-year contract after leaving Manchester City.
The 32-year-old became a free agent at the end of June following the expiration of his contract, bringing an end to a trophy-laden 10-year spell at the Etihad Stadium.
Reflecting on his time at City, Stones said he had "lived all my dreams out" after helping the club secure six Premier League titles, the UEFA Champions League, two FA Cups, five League Cups, three Community Shields, the FIFA Club World Cup and the UEFA Super Cup.
Following his departure, the experienced centre-back attracted interest from several European clubs, including Chelsea and Juventus, before opting to join the reigning Serie A champions.
Inter claimed their 21st Italian league title last season and will begin the defence of their crown against newly promoted Monza on Saturday, 22 August.
Stones made 295 appearances for Manchester City after joining from Everton in a £47.5 million deal in 2016, scoring 19 goals during his decade-long stay.
On the international stage, the former Barnsley defender has earned 93 England caps. He was also part of England's squad that finished third at this summer's FIFA World Cup, starting both the quarter-final victory over Norway and the 2-1 semi-final defeat to Argentina.
