Turkish champions Galatasaray have reached an agreement with Burnley to sign Super Eagles-eligible midfielder Lesley Ugochukwu in a deal worth just under €30 million, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.
Romano confirmed the agreement on Sunday, revealing that the 22-year-old is expected to complete his move to the Turkish club in the coming days.
"Here we go, confirmed: Lesley Ugochukwu will sign his contract at Galatasaray shortly. Deal worth under €30m package from Burnley for the midfielder," Romano wrote on X.
Ugochukwu enjoyed an impressive 2025/26 Premier League campaign despite Burnley's relegation to the Championship. The midfielder made 35 league appearances, scoring three goals and registering two assists.
Once the transfer is completed, the Nigerian-born midfielder is expected to link up with Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen at Galatasaray, further strengthening the club's Nigerian contingent.
