Arsenal have completed the signing of Spain goalkeeper Misa Rodriguez on a free transfer, making her their sixth addition of the summer window.
The 27-year-old joins the Women's Super League club after leaving Real Madrid at the end of last season. She will wear the number 16 shirt and compete for the starting spot alongside Daphne van Domselaar and Anneke Borbe.
"I'm so proud to join this great club. Arsenal is one of the top clubs in the world and I'm excited for this new challenge," Rodriguez said.
During her six years at Real Madrid, Rodriguez made a club-record 215 appearances and was named captain last season.
The goalkeeper has earned 34 caps for Spain since her senior debut in 2021, including three appearances during their 2023 Women's World Cup triumph. However, she has since lost her starting position to Barcelona's Cata Coll.
Arsenal have been active in the transfer market as they prepare for the 2026/27 Women's Super League season, with Georgia Stanway, Ona Batlle, Selina Cerci, Geraldine Reuteler and Lisa Baum also joining Renee Slegers' squad.
The Gunners finished second in the WSL last season and reached the semi-finals of the Women's Champions League.
