Liverpool Confirm Departure of Three First-Team Coaches

0

Liverpool have confirmed that three members of the club's coaching staff will leave their positions following recent changes to the managerial setup.

The departing coaches are Sipke Hulshoff, Ruben Peeters and Giovanni van Bronckhorst, all of whom were part of the backroom team assembled under former head coach Arne Slot.

Hulshoff served as Liverpool's first assistant coach and lead physical performance coach, playing a key role in the club's day-to-day operations and player development.

Peeters joined the Reds in the summer of 2024 as part of Slot's coaching staff, bringing expertise in physical conditioning and performance management.

Meanwhile, former Netherlands international and ex-Rangers manager Giovanni van Bronckhorst also arrived at Anfield last summer, taking up an assistant coaching role within Slot's setup.

The departures come in the wake of Slot's exit from the club last month, prompting a wider restructuring of Liverpool's coaching staff ahead of the new season.

In a statement, Liverpool expressed their gratitude to the trio for their service and contribution during their time at Anfield.

"Everybody at LFC thanks Sipke, Ruben and Gio for all their efforts and contributions to the club and wishes them the best for the future," the club said.

The departures mark the latest changes behind the scenes as Liverpool continue preparations for a new chapter under a revised coaching structure.
