AC Milan are closing in on the appointment of a new head coach, with Portuguese manager Rúben Amorim reportedly ready to accept the terms offered by the club as negotiations enter their final stages.
Amorim is said to be fully convinced by Milan's sporting project and is now awaiting the club's final decision before an official announcement can be made.
According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, the 41-year-old has informed the Serie A giants of his willingness to proceed under the conditions discussed during recent talks.
The former Sporting CP manager views the opportunity to lead AC Milan as an exciting next step in his coaching career and is keen to take charge at San Siro.
Milan have spent recent weeks evaluating a number of candidates as they seek the right coach to guide the club into a new era. However, discussions with Amorim have advanced positively, placing him firmly among the leading contenders for the role.
The final decision now rests with the club's hierarchy, who are expected to make a definitive call in the coming days.
For now, Amorim remains on standby as he awaits the green light from the Rossoneri.
"Rúben Amorim, ready to accept all conditions discussed with AC Milan to become the new manager. He wants the job and is waiting for the final green light from Milan," Romano wrote on X.
