Victor Boniface has publicly thanked Nigerian singer Teni for supporting him during his recovery from a serious knee injury.
The Super Eagles striker, who underwent surgery in January after suffering cartilage damage, revealed on X that Teni regularly checked on him after the operation.
“After my surgery, I know how many times Teni Entertainer call to check on me. Respect,” Boniface wrote.
Boniface’s injury forced him into a lengthy rehabilitation period and disrupted his season following persistent knee problems. Reports say the surgery was carried out in Innsbruck, Austria, after months of pain during his loan spell at Werder Bremen.
Teni, known for hit songs like Case and Uyo Meyo, has earned praise from fans online for her support during the footballer’s difficult recovery period.
