Thierry Henry has warned Mikel Arteta that he may have to face tough questions from the board if he fails to win a trophy this season with Arsenal.
Arsenal are currently challenging for both the Premier League title and the Champions League, sitting top of the league table ahead of Manchester City and preparing for a Champions League semi-final second leg against Atlético Madrid.
Speaking on CBS Sports, Henry said that given the club’s investment and progress, Arteta would inevitably be questioned if the season ends without silverware, adding that such scrutiny would be “normal” after so many years without a major trophy since the 2020 FA Cup win.
