Pep Guardiola has publicly denied reports that he is about to leave Manchester City, saying he is still under contract and committed to the club.
The speculation intensified after several outlets reported that Guardiola could step down at the end of the 2025–26 season, with former assistant Enzo Maresca tipped as a possible successor.
However, Guardiola pushed back against the rumours. When asked whether this could be his final season, he reportedly responded: “No way” and pointed out that he still has “one more year” on his contract.
Despite his denial, reports from multiple media outlets continue to suggest there is uncertainty around his future, especially after a decade in charge that has brought numerous trophies and transformed City into one of Europe’s dominant clubs
