Harry Redknapp believes this season’s title race could go down to the wire, with the Premier League crown potentially being decided on goal difference.
The former Tottenham Hotspur F.C. and Portsmouth F.C. manager shared his thoughts amid an increasingly tense battle at the top of the table, where several sides remain firmly in contention heading into the closing stages of the campaign.
Redknapp praised the consistency shown by the leading teams this season, insisting there is little to separate them in terms of quality and form. According to him, the margins are now so fine that goal difference could ultimately determine who lifts the trophy.
“It’s that tight,” Redknapp said while discussing the race. “I honestly think it could come down to goal difference because the teams at the top just keep winning.”
The veteran manager also highlighted the importance of every goal scored and conceded in the remaining fixtures, noting that attacking intent and defensive discipline will both play a decisive role.
With the pressure intensifying and every point proving crucial, the title race is shaping up to be one of the closest in recent Premier League history, setting the stage for a dramatic finish to the season.
