Enzo Fernández is reportedly open to leaving Chelsea after the club failed to qualify for European competition, but the Blues would demand around £120m for the Argentina midfielder.
The 25-year-old, who joined from Benfica in 2023 for a British record fee of £107m, is under contract until 2032 — a key factor in Chelsea’s valuation.
Although Fernández remains part of the club’s plans for next season, Chelsea would only consider offers that meet their asking price.
The World Cup winner enjoyed a strong campaign, scoring 15 goals and providing seven assists, and finished as runner-up in Chelsea’s Player of the Season voting.
His agent, Javier Pastore, is understood to be assessing potential options, with Real Madrid emerging as his preferred destination.
Manchester City have also been linked, though they are prioritising Nottingham Forest midfielder Elliot Anderson. Paris Saint-Germain have been mentioned as admirers but are said to be unlikely to make a move.
Real Madrid are reportedly unwilling to meet Chelsea’s valuation unless they generate significant funds through player sales, with Manchester City’s Rodri also previously linked.
Despite a disappointing season that saw Chelsea finish 10th and trophyless, senior figures at Stamford Bridge are said to be planning a squad rebuild under new manager Xabi Alonso, with an emphasis on experienced, Premier League-ready signings.
