The owners of English non-league side Maldon & Tiptree FC, Barrie and Scott Drewitt-Barlow, have been charged with rape, sexual assault and human trafficking offences.
The allegations involve four men and reportedly span incidents between 2013 and 2026 in Essex and Manchester. The pair appeared in court on Friday and were remanded in custody pending a further hearing.
Both men deny the allegations. Authorities say investigations are ongoing.
