Tottenham Hotspur are looking to appoint a lead sport psychologist for their men’s team as part of efforts to improve players’ mentality and performance.
The move comes after head coach Roberto De Zerbi said the squad needs to “change the mentality” following a poor run of results that has left Spurs in the Premier League’s bottom three.
The club are also advertising for a psychologist for the women’s team, aiming to strengthen mental support across both sides.
Tottenham say the role will involve working closely with players and coaching staff to build a stronger psychological performance culture within the club.
