Liverpool boss Arne Slot fears Hugo Ekitike has suffered a serious injury after being stretchered off during the Champions League loss to PSG.
The striker went down holding his ankle and was clearly in pain, with Slot admitting it “looks really bad,” though the full extent is still unknown.
If the injury is severe, it could rule Ekitike out for a long period and deal a major blow to his chances of making France’s squad for the upcoming World Cup.
