Manchester City boosted their title chances with a strong win over Chelsea, putting more pressure on league leaders Arsenal.
City were not at their best in the first half, with Rayan Cherki going close, but they improved after the break and took control of the game.
The breakthrough came when Cherki delivered a perfect cross for Nico O'Reilly to head home. Just minutes later, Cherki set up Marc Guehi, who calmly finished to double the lead.
Chelsea struggled to respond, and a costly mistake in midfield allowed Jeremy Doku to break through and score a third goal, sealing the victory.
The win means City close the gap on Arsenal to six points and still have a game in hand, setting up a huge clash between the two sides next. Meanwhile, Chelsea’s poor form continues as they suffer another defeat.
