Rory McIlroy produced a brilliant 90-minute spell to take a strong lead at the Masters Tournament.
He finished his second round in stunning form, making six birdies in his last seven holes, including a superb chip-in, to reach 12 under par and open a six-shot lead.
After advice from Jack Nicklaus to avoid mistakes like double bogeys, McIlroy has stayed consistent and in control so far.
He now looks in a strong position to defend his title, although challengers like Sam Burns and Patrick Reed are still chasing behind.
