Lincoln City are back in the Championship for the first time since 1961 after Jack Moylan’s dramatic 96th-minute winner sealed a 2-1 victory at Reading.
Ryan One gave the Imps an early lead before Lewis Wing equalised, but Moylan’s late strike confirmed promotion and extended Lincoln’s unbeaten League One run to 24 games, giving them an unassailable 19-point lead over third-placed Bradford City.
The result caps a historic season under Michael Skubala, with Lincoln boasting the league’s best attack and defence and just one home defeat. The dramatic win also keeps their hopes of a League One title alive.
