Leicester City have lost their appeal against a six-point deduction for breaking EFL financial rules.
The penalty, imposed in February, dropped the Foxes from 17th to 20th place and now leaves them in the Championship relegation zone, just one point from safety with five games remaining.
Leicester were originally charged by the Premier League in May 2025 for profit and sustainability breaches during the 2023-24 season. The club said fans’ support has been appreciated and that the team is now fully focused on winning the remaining matches to secure survival.
