A Tyson Fury vs Anthony Joshua heavyweight fight is not going to happen at Croke Park, according to promoter Eddie Hearn.
Hearn also confirmed he will be in Dublin on Friday for talks aimed at securing Croke Park for Katie Taylor’s farewell fight.
Croke Park’s chief executive had previously suggested the stadium could host Katie Taylor’s big fight on a card that might also include Fury, but Hearn rejected that idea.
Hearn, who promotes both Joshua and Taylor, said Katie Taylor should be the main attraction at Croke Park and should not be on an undercard.
He added that while a Fury vs Joshua fight could still happen later this year, it will not take place in Dublin.
