Martim Fernandes’s strange own goal helped give Nottingham Forest a chance of reaching their first European semi-final in over 40 years.
The Porto defender accidentally passed the ball into his own net from long range, cancelling out an early goal from William Gomes and bringing Forest back into the game.
The result means Forest still have a strong chance going into the second leg at the City Ground, where a win could take them into their first European semi-final since 1984.
