England’s Hannah Botterman and May Campbell will miss the Women’s Six Nations as they need surgery.
Botterman will have a second ankle operation after her injury playing for Bristol in December, while Campbell will undergo knee surgery.
England have brought in Delaney Burns and Liz Crake as replacements.
Alex Matthews is also out of Saturday’s match against Scotland due to a shoulder injury.
Several other England players are already missing the tournament through injury, surgery, pregnancy, or retirement.
