Spanish cyclist Jaume Guardeno remains in a critical condition after a serious crash during a training ride last month.
The 23-year-old, who finished 14th overall in last year’s Vuelta a Espana, was injured on 31 March when he lost control of his bike after hitting a rock and collided with a car.
His team, Caja Rural-Seguros RGA, said he is being treated in intensive care at Taulà Hospital in Sabadell. They added that his condition is still critical but stable, and he is under close monitoring while undergoing further treatment.
Guardeno continues to fight for recovery after the accident, with the team offering support as he receives ongoing medical care.
