Jonny Clayton came from 5-2 behind to beat Michael van Gerwen 6-5 and move top of the Premier League after winning in Brighton.
Van Gerwen missed four match darts, allowing Clayton to win four straight legs and turn the match around.
The victory puts Clayton three points ahead of Luke Littler after the world champion failed to add to his points in Brighton.
Despite Van Gerwen having better stats overall, Clayton took his chances when it mattered and sealed the win with two 180s in the final leg before finishing on double 16.
