Alexander Isak will return to team training on Thursday, Liverpool head coach Arne Slot confirmed.
The £125m club-record signing has been out since December due to a fractured leg and ankle surgery. Before his injury against Tottenham, the 26-year-old striker had scored three goals in 16 appearances for Liverpool FC.
Slot said Isak is “in a really good place” and praised his hard work during recovery, adding it’s a boost for the squad ahead of Saturday’s FA Cup quarter-final against Manchester City.
