Ronnie O’Sullivan made snooker history with a record 153 break at the World Open in Yushan.
The seven-time world champion achieved it in the first frame of his match against Ryan Day, helping him win 5-0.
The 153 break beats the previous record of 148 and is now the highest-ever professional break.
O’Sullivan said he was happy and thanked fans for their support. He will now face Wu Yize in the semi-finals.
